Synopsis :

First TV series with immigration work
Top confidential of Hong Kong’s border security.

Immigration Department is guarding the door of Hong Kong, and seeks out to prevent doubtful identities and criminals from entering Hong Kong. It only not creates a highly demanding task for immigration officer and also raises a further question - how will they make identity verification as accurate as possible?

Fong Tsun Kit (Kwok Chun On) becomes friends with two other candidates Cheng Pak Yue (Cho Wing Lim) and Yip On Kei (Mung Ka Wai, Yoyo) while applying for a post in the Immigration Department. Yu is an aggressive person. He later moves to the Police Force and is promoted to Senior Inspector of Regional Crime Unit. While investigating a murder case, he realizes that the new gang leader Wu Kit Sum (Wong Tak Bun) has killed somebody because of Kit’s wife. It totally turns Kit’s life upside down. As a good friend, Kei helps Kit take care of his son after a failed relationship with Yu. When two hearts meet, an extraordinary link spontaneously draws them together. Meanwhile, Au Shun Fung (Patrick Tang) appreciates Kit’s ability very much and recommends him to Mak Kai Ming (John Chiang), Head of Investigation Section. Kit gains approval and he is determined to start anew. While carrying out an investigation on a fraud syndicate, he comes upon his missing wife and uncovers her long-hidden identity.

Synopsis :

Beautiful cooking is a Hong Kong variety show broadcast on TVB. The show began broadcasting in May 28, 2006 hosted by Ronald Cheng, Alex Fong and Edmond Leung. This is the second season of this variety show.

The game participants include 3 female Hong Kong celebrities. Usually the girls are invited for their beauty or celebrity status. The girls are given an apron to wear on top of the clothes they come in.

Competition 1
For the first competition, a master chef will cook a more complicated dish and then explain the recipe and cooking procedure. The female celebrities are then requested to match the chef’s dish by trying to imitate the cooking and recipe.

Competition 2
In competition 2, the three contestants are presented with a live seafood (fish, eel, crab, squid…etc) to prepare and cook a dish. They must kill, clean and prepare the seafood all by themselves.

Points
When the dish is finished, the hosts, guest judges and the guest chef gets to sample the dishes and on a scale of -10 to 10, they give out a score. Negative scores are often given. One of the hosts actually got sick from eating one of the celebrities’ dish and skipped a day’s filming.[citation needed] Selected members of the audience also get a chance to try the dishes and make additional comments. Winners are announced at the end of the show.

Notes:
My friends told me that this was an interesting game show and I should watch it. I didn’t watch the first season of Beautiful Cooking so I really had no idea what it was about. I download one episode of Beautiful Cooking II and its quite funny. Initially it was suppose to have 18 episodes but now they have extended it till 26 episodes. More laugh for us, I suppose.

Synopsis :

Shrewish husband V.S. Shrewd wife
A bond between justice and affection

Career-minded magistrate Ko Hei Man (Hsuan Jessica Hester) gains full support from her loyal husband Kot Kwok Kwong (Chan Kam Hung, Sunny) so that she is able to concentrate fully on her works. At court, Man strongly believes that everyone is equal before the law and she tackles every challenge confidently. At home, she never bothers about the household duties which are all taken by husband and any complaints filed by mother-in-law. Man just takes things for granted but fate continuously to convince her that law cannot be applied to every situation.

Man feels sympathized with Ho Sau Sau (Tang Lai Ming, Joyce) who suffers from slight mental disorders. Trying to help, Man allows her to come into her family but this creates an opportunity for Sau to replace Man’s role as a wife and a mother completely. Kwong is seriously injured during a car accident. His relative Kot Tak Wan (Lee Sze Chit) lectures Kwong how to fight against Man and this leads to serious communication breakdown between the couple. Swindler Ho Shi Fu (Hui Shiu Hung) appears in Man’s life as a hopeless villain from the lower class but he is in fact the father of a senior official.

“Just Love II” is a story about law and human nature. How would the couple tide over the difficulties?
